Spring Floral Wreath

Hello Blogger Friends! Thanks for taking the time to stop and visit with The Charmed Life Blog this last Sunday in April.

This month seemed like a flash in the pan. It went by so quickly. We started our day off by attending church service with my son and daughter-in-law. Then we went to brunch afterwards. It was a nice start to the day and spending time with family is always wonderful.

I went for a 30 minute walk this afternoon. Trying to walk on the days I don't go to the gym. I picked up a few pounds over the winter and I want to shed them before summer comes. Walking and eating healthier will do the trick. We got into a habit this winter of eating dinner around 8:00 pm. It's not really good to eat anything past 7:30 so that's another thing that I will change.

Now onto this blog post. This is a card I created using the colors from color challenge #733 on Splitcoaststampers. I was the hostess and I chose highland heather, gorgeous grape and pear pizzazz as the color trio.
highland heather, gorgeous grape, pear pizzazz
For this card I used the CottageCutz "fresh spring floral wreath" die. I used cardstock in the challenge colors to create the wreath. Sponged pear pizzazz ink on some of the smaller leaves to get a little darker color. I cut a wide rectangle frame in gorgeous grape and added that to the highland heather card base.

Added the birthday sentiment and scattered some gorgeous grape enamel dots to complete my card. And that's it for this post. So until next time...…..God bless.
