Grateful for Family

Hello Blogger Friends! Thanks for taking the time to stop and visit with The Charmed Life Blog today. Well, it's October and we are moving onto cooler weather, falling leaves, heartier meals and upcoming holidays.

Speaking of heartier meals we had some delicious vegetable soup courtesy of a neighbor yesterday with some great homemade crusty bread. It was such a treat. Then my neighbor on the other side sent us some Broccoli Cheese soup. That one was packed with flavor as well. We love having soups throughout the Fall and Winter. I am blessed with such wonderful neighbors who are always sending food to us. Of course, I reciprocate with delights from my kitchen as well.

Now let's move onto my card for today. This one I created for the color challenge #861 on Splitcoaststampers. Karen was the hostess and she chose cajun craze, pool party and mossy meadow for her color trio. Optional was to use Designer paper.
For my card I tried a technique I have seen around for awhile - the split front card technique. I found this tutorial on YouTube

My designer paper is from the Stampin'-Up "gilded autumn" collection. The dies are from CottageCutz - Harvest Fall Corner, Pumpkin Pie & Latte (for the leaves) dies. The sentiment is from a 2019 Stampin'-Up Paper Pumpkin kit.

Well, that's it for me for this post. So until next time.......God Bless.
