You Look Fabulous

Happy Tuesday and thanks for taking the time to visit the charmed life blog. We had a great week-end. It was spent with family and different celebrations.
Friday night we went to my husband's niece' home for a birthday party. It was a good time of talking and just enjoying each others company.

On Sunday we went to my side of the family to a nieces high school graduation. Another good time of conversation, food and enjoying each other. Even in the 90 degree heat!!

So no crafting for me over the week-end so I got right to it on Monday. But I kept getting side tracked and was only able to make this one card. But, that's okay because I have the rest of the week yet (lol).

This is my card for the color challenge #379 on Splitcoaststampers. Karen is our hostess and she chose some great colors for us this week.

We are to use cajun craze, cherry cobbler, baja breeze and as dessert lucky limeade.

I found some great designer paper in my stash from BoBunny to use for my background panel.
I flipped it over and used the cajun craze dotted side for one of my rectangle panels and some Stampin-Up baja breeze for the other rectangle panel.

Used the Tim Holtz rosette die to make a rosette in cherry cobbler and added a lucky limeade center.

The “you look fabulous” sentiment is stamped in cajun craze ink. It’s from a soon to be released stamp set by Marks Finest Papers – “silly shells”. It has seashell images and lots of sentiments.

To complete my card I added some Spellbinders pennants cut in cajun craze.

The card layout is this weeks MojoMonday sketch #245.

Well, that's it for me today. So until next time.......God bless
