This is my card for today and it covers 4 challenges:
1. The Saturday inspiration challenge took us to Huset. It is a Swedish site that features contemporary item. I chose the red bird candelabra as my inspiration. I knew I had this woodland birds paper from dcwv that would work for this challenge.
2. The colors I went with were from the curtain call color challenge: act 28. This was last Saturday's colors, but I didn't get to play until today. We were to use not quite navy, kraft, rose red and white. I loved these colors together. On my kraft panel, I used a cuttlebug folder -the birds and swirls. My image is from the cheep talk set. When I stamped the red bird the edge of the rubber had ink and it stamped as well. I was ready to re-do and then I thought it looked like he was talking to the other bird so I left it alone.
3..The layout is another card for the mojomonday 137 challenge. It's my 2nd entry for this challenge. That's another first for me.
4. the 4th challenge is the pals paper arts inspiration challenge. My inspiration came from the bird plate.
Well my blogging friends, I have to close we are invited to dinner at our friends home and it's time to leave. God Bless. Happy Mother's Day to all who visit my blog.
