Hello Blogger Friends! Happy Friday to you and thanks for taking the time to stop and visit with The Charmed Life Blog today.
It's a beautiful Fall Day here in Pittsburgh. We had a heavy frost overnight a few days ago and our vegetable gardens are finished for this year. Some of the flowers are still blooming which is a surprise. We are supposed to have warming temps this coming week so they will still be around for awhile.
Now let's move onto my card for today. This one I made for the color challenge #916 on Splitcoaststampers. I was the hostess, and I chose gorgeous grape, daffodil delight and pumpkin pie for my color trio. Optional was a Halloween or Fall card.

For my card I took the Halloween option. I used a new die from CottageCutz - the Haunted Ghost House. I cut the house in the challenge colors plus neutrals of brown, gray and mossy meadow.
My background sky is ink blended on Bristol smooth cardstock with distress inks that are a good match for the Stampin' Up colors. I used black soot, villainous potion, carved pumpkin and forest moss. I masked part of the sky with a circle to get the moon image and then sponged some black soot ink on the moon to create shadows.
My welcome phrase is cut in pumpkin pie, and I sponged the carved pumpkin ink to get a deeper color. Did you catch the bone that is supporting the side roof (lol)!!!

Also, if you would like the chance to win this card and the die I used to make it, just follow my Blog and leave me a comment. For another chance to win a different die - check out this Blog post. Because of international postage rates, I can only offer this to US stampers.
Well, that's it for me for this post. So, until next time.......God bless.
