Fox in Airplane

Hello Blogger Friends! Thanks for taking the time to stop and visit with The Charmed Life Blog today.

It's a beautiful sunny day here in Pittsburgh. Spring is just about a week away and this weekend we switch the clocks to daylight savings time. I am going out with a friend today to do some shopping and then have lunch. It's something that we haven't done for a year. It's all the little things in life you take for granted until you don't have it. But life is starting to return to a somewhat normal state and that makes me very happy.

Now onto my card for today. This one I created for my weekly DT post on the CottageCutz Blog. I used the new Fox in Airplane die and created a card for my precious granddaughter in California.  It's a non-traditional Easter card. So let's get started with some details of how I created my card.

Design Steps:

I started my card by cutting the Fox in Airplane image. Used the package coloring because they would work well with the outdoor scene I was creating.
Next I started my stenciled background. I used a cloud stencil, a layered mountain stencil with pine trees along with various distress and die inks. Here are my supplies: I used the MFT mini cloud stencil and a layered mountain scene stencil from Altenew.
And this is my finished scene with my stamped sentiment. The sentiment is from the MFT "lots of hugs" stamps set.
Next, I attached the Fox and Airplane image using dimensional adhesive. I wanted it lifted off the background for more depth.
To complete my card, I attached the image panel to an apple green card base and scattered a few sequins.
Well, that's it for me for this post. So until next time......God bless.
