Polar Bear Snowglobe

Hello Blogger Friends! Thanks for taking the time to stop and visit with the Charmed Life Blog.
We had a crazy, rain, freezing rain and snow storm  here in Pittsburgh today . The schools were closed and there were some accidents. We were advised to stay off the roads if you didn't need to go out.

It wasn't my preschool day so I didn't need to go out. I just had plans to go to the gym but when I was planning on going the snow started and the roads got icy again. So I stayed home and worked on my preschool art project. Tomorrow we will have the kids decorate gift bags for their upcoming Valentine party.

So with all the snow and cold weather, it seemed like a good day to show a Christmas card with Polar Bears and some background paper with snow. I used the colors from the Splitcoaststampers color challenge #662. The colors are berry burst, tranquil tide, and gold.

My snow globe is a die from CottageCutz. The polar bear is part of the snow globe friends die set.

I cut the images in the challenge colors. Since my polar bear was cut in whisper white, I sponged on some smoky slate ink, so it would stand out a bit on the white globe.

My background designer paper is from the Stampin'-Up "delightful daisy" collection. I cut a frame in berry burst (love this color) with the pierced wide rectangle die also from CottageCutz.

The sentiment is the "vintage Christmas wishes" stamp set from Hero Arts. Well, that's it for me for this post. So until next time........God bless.
