~It's A Boy~

Happy Wednesday and thanks for taking the time to visit the Charmed Life Blog. Well we had a touch of winter weather back with us yesterday. It was snowy and cold all day. No accumulation of snow just a shocker to your body after temps of 82° on Sunday. But, it is supposed to warm up again in the next few days.

I am having Easter dinner at my home with my son, daughter-in-law and grandsons. Still working on my dinner menu but I do know the main dish will be an Easter ham. We only have that once a year and my hubby likes it on Easter. Have to check out the local stores to see who has the best price.

Now onto my card for today. I needed a baby card for my nephew and wife. They just had a baby boy and it is their first.

I used the layout from the Splitcoaststampers sketch challenge #483. Janette was the hostess and she provided a great layout for us. I love the look of angled panels.

My background designer paper from DCWV the "nana's kids prints" collection.  The bottom angled panel is barely banana and I used the Stampin-Up alphabet embossing folder. The card colors are from the Color Throwdown #287.
My elephant is a Memory Box stamp and matching die. I stamped in soft sky on barely banana cardstock.

Sentiment is from the Verve set "practically perfect". Added some abc corner embellies to complete my card. I bought these years ago from QVC. Yay for using up stash supplies.
Well, time to get started with my day. Lots of odds and ends to take care of in the house before Sunday. So until next time........God bless.
