Black & White Wedding

Happy Wednesday and thanks for taking the time to visit the Charmed Life Blog. I mentioned a couple of months ago that I had joined a fitness center.

Well I am happy to report that I am still going 2-3 times a week and seeing results. I am working with a trainer so I know the exercises, weights and machines I use are being done right. My clothes are starting to fit better although I haven't lost any weight yet. But then I wasn't really working at that.

She has me doing strength training and I notice little things like my wrist getting stronger. You might think that is a little strange but I had trouble lifting some things with my left hand. But, tonight I realized I was able to pick up my 12" stainless steel fry pan and hold it to remove the contents without any difficulty that's exciting to me.

Now onto my card for today. This one I made for my nephew who was recently married. They had a destination wedding in Key West but I still wanted to make a card and give a small gift to them.

I used an older sketch from Splitcoaststampers for my card. It is SC377.

My lattice background is cut with a MS lattice punch. On the next layer, I used the Stampin-Up embossing folder "elegant lines".

The sentiment is from the Verve set "wishing you". I layered it on 2 Spellbinders dies the small oval and the floral oval.

Used some black satin ribbon and red paper roses for a splash of color. I added 3 black rhinestones on the oval panel to complete my card.

Well, it's time to dim the lights in Charmed Life land for another day. So until next time........God bless.

I am also entering:
1.  Just Inspirational Challenges has a flowers theme.
2.  Loves Rubberstamps has a sentiment on card front challenge.
3.  Through The Craft Room Door has an anything goes challenge.
4.  Tuesday Throwdown has an anything goes challenge.
