A razzleberry birdie

Happy Monday and thanks for taking the time to drop by the charmed life blog. We are having such a beautiful very late summer day here in Pittsburgh.

The temps are so mild and lots of sunshine. I did nothing in particular today but a little of this and that and now it's late afternoon.

We are going out with my husband's family tonight to celebrate my sister-in-laws birthday.
It will be nice family time no matter where we go to eat.

My card for today covers 2 challenges:

1.  The Waltzingmouse sketch blog had this great layout posted. I liked it as soon as I saw it. It helps when someone else comes up with the layout for sure.

2.  The color throwdown blog had these great colors to work with this week so that provided my card color.

I used Stampin-Ups basic gray, rich razzleberry and pink pirouette designer paper. The bird is the 2 step bird punch.

My card corners are part of the Waltzingmouse stamp set "vintage labels 4". The sentiment is from the MSE stamp set "little birdie". I used a spellbinders ribbon tag die and the word window punch to highlight the words and also to add my razzleberry ribbon.

That completed this card. I was happy with how it turned out as well. That's always good after you spend time working on a card (lol)!!
