Thanks for taking the time to visit the Charmed Life Blog. I am gradually making my way back into blogging as well as crafting after our devastating loss about a month ago. I am searching for a new normal but I know that my crafting is a calming diversion for me.

So in the next days I will be showing what I have created in the last couple of weeks. I thought I would show today my hubby's stress reliever. He is an avid gardener and I took a few photos of his container plants. They are on our deck.

I also took a photo of our first harvest of red leaf lettuce. He hasn't grown any lettuce in years. This year he decided to make a bigger vegetable garden. Our sweet granddaughter, Phoenix Daisy, will be coming for a visit this summer. We want her to go out into the garden and help pick vegetables.

If you look close on the bougainvillea photo, you will see my hubby in the background. Well, that's it for me for today. So until next time.........God bless.

  1. Lovely plants. I'm sure you will both enjoy them this summer. Glad you are crafting again. I'm anxious to see your new projects. DH has cantaloupes coming up. We are both pleased and surprised that our glads seem to have survived the harsh winter. Those are my favorites.

  2. Beautiful plants, Mary! Nothing like fresh lettuce grown by your own hands is there? Thinking of you and wishing you well...

  3. Mary so glad to see you posting!! You are on my mind and in my prayers daily!! Such beautiful flowers and veggies your hubby is growing! So glad that Phoenix Daisy gets to come see you. It is always such a treat for little ones to go to the garden and pic their own veggies, a special time it will be for her :) Hugs my friend!!
