For my card today, I decided to use a quilting technique with the top note die and make a sewing collage . I punched 12 squares of designer paper, using a 1 1/4" square punch.

I taped them onto a piece of cardstock and then ran it though my Big Shot machine. It makes such a lovely quilt pattern. I used an embossing folder on the card base.

I stamped the sewing machine and measuring tape in soft suede ink. The scissors are stamped in rose red ink. I fussy cut these. Used a button die and cut the buttons from rose red cardstock.

That's my card for today. See you back here tomorrow with another sample.

  11. Sew nice. Especially like the quilting. Wish I knew how to sew. My mother was a wonderful seamstress. I took Home Ec sewing in high school.
Had jury duty summons today. 25 people were selected. I was left in remaining 28 group and after waiting for some time we were told we were not needed & could leave.
